Coding
Full Stack Course Management App
An app built using React and a custom REST API. Includes user authentication and CRUD (create, read, update, delete) functionality for courses.
SQL Library Management App
An app to manage the collection of books in a library, built with Node and Express, using SQLite for database management, and Pug for templating.
React Photo Gallery
A simple photo gallery app that displays photos from the Flickr API using navigation buttons or a search bar feature. Built using Node and React.
ExpressJS Static Site
A basic portfolio website built using Node and Express, and using Pug for templating to create a site with static content. Displays my Vanilla JavaScript projects.
Vanilla JavaScript
Projects I have coded by hand using only HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Includes a phrase-guessing game, RSPV app, flashcard app, and more.
Design
Sherard Family Reunion
A biennial event with 100+ attendees. I am webmaster and designer of a wide range of items. I pioneered the concept for our Virtual Reunion in 2020.
Mid Atlantic Security Agency
Redesigned the company logo and all of the marketing materials. I also edited, formatted and submitted proposal documents in response to government RFPs.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Design a wide range of materials, including logos, print ads, flyers, posters, banners, bookmarks and embroidered shirts for a variety of events and occasions.
theRamoshe Branding & Twitch Channel
Since July 2020 I’ve been live streaming on Twitch, primarily creative art/crafting content. I designed all of the graphics and branding for my stream and channel.
Kate Spade New York
Assisted in the Textile Design department, created a system for organizing design archives and inspiration library, coordinated specs for overseas manufacturers.
Nations Photo Lab
Produced handmade photo books and genuine leather covers (e.g. wedding albums). Designed and implemented a workflow system for new machines.
Baking & Decorating
Two topics I have also studied and have a passion for. I have taken photos all around the world, and just can’t stop myself from making pretty & yummy things.
UX Research
Overseas Voter Survey
Designed and built an online survey to study how Americans living overseas continue to vote in US elections. Presented analysis of data.
US Fish & Wildlife Service
Researched and designed an app for collecting data from waterfowl hunters. From paper prototype, through user testing iterations, to a final Axure prototype.
Center Stage Theater
Designed, prototyped, and tested an interactive lobby experience for a theatre that will be accessible to all types of audience and community members.
Community Law Center
Analyzed user journey and formulated a concept for the design of a website and app. Created a concept video to illustrate interaction design and user story.
Homestar Runner
Took an old novelty entertainment website built with outdated technology and designed and built a new mobile responsive version to better serve modern users.
VotesPA.com Eye Tracking Study
Conducted user testing and presented analysis of qualitative and statistical data in support of recommendations to improve site usability.
Seniors & Computers Field Research
Defined a research plan and performed interviews with senior citizens. Compiled findings to analyze user goals, environment, and tasks based on observations.
Teavolve Café & Lounge
Composed and administered a customer survey for a local business. Presented statistical analysis with a focus on business implications.
National Center for PTSD
Performed a content inventory, competitive analysis and card sorting study which informed a new strategic plan and wireframes with redesigned site structure.

An e-commerce site I built to sell handmade pyrography (wood burned) art, coasters and jewelry. Site uses WooCommerce and custom coded design elements.
Jewel Rose Creations
Designed and built an e-commerce website for a crafter launching an online business. I continue to update the site with new features and am working on a redesign.
